Beyond the lens

Design thinking and digital strategy shape the work behind the camera.
Alvaro spent over 10 years in industrial and product design before moving into photography and film, along the way earning a nomination for Colombia’s Lápiz de Acero award and a feature in the Iberoamerican Design Award. That background shapes how he reads a space, looking for design intent, not just surface appearance, reflected in the angles and compositions he chooses.
A postgraduate qualification in Marketing adds the other half: the digital strategy behind the content and the intent, not just the image itself. Every shoot is approached with that bigger plan already in mind. The result isn’t just strong photography and film, it’s work built to actually carry a studio’s story, across a website, a campaign, or wherever it needs to go.
